El Bruesa GBC ha logrado esta tarde firmar su retorno a la Liga ACB, en cuyo ascenso acompañará al CAI Zaragoza, tras derrotar en un emocionante partido al Tenerife Rural en la final de la LEB Oro por 81-76, partido en el que mayor acierto desde la línea de tiros libres y la actuación del pívot David Doblas resultaron cruciales.
Doblas, que anotó 17 puntos, capturó seis rebotes y recibió nueve faltas personales, para una valoración final de 26 puntos, se erigió en un bastión infranqueable en su zona, y fue el autor de las canastas que propiciaron que el conjunto guipuzcoano encarase el último tramo del encuentro con ventaja en el marcador.
El partido resultó muy igualado en casi todas las facetas del juego, tanto en los porcentajes de tiro de campo, como en el apartado reboteador, asistencias, menos en los tiros libres, capítulo que a la postre resultaría de vital importancia para el resultado final.
El equipo vasco convirtió 18 de 25 intentos (72 por ciento), mientras que los jugadores insulares se quedaron en un pobre 58 por ciento (18 de 31), fallos concretados además en los últimos minutos.
Así las cosas, esa circunstancia resultó desequilibrante en el último cuarto, cuando el Bruesa logró enjugar una diferencia en el electrónico de cuatro puntos (63-67, min.33).
Este detalle, y la acertada actuación de Doblas posibilitaron que el cuadro que dirige Pablo Laso primero empatase el partido (69-69, m.36), y luego fuera paulatinamente acrecentando su ventaja hasta llegar al definitivo 81-76 final.
