Un adolescente fue acusado el martes de entrar en las viviendas de las actrices Lindsay Lohan y Audrina Patridge en Los Ángeles y robar ropa y joyas por un valor cercano a los 170.000 dólares (unos 114.000 euros).
La policía arrestó en septiembre a Nicholas Frank Prugo, de 18 años, diciendo que era sospechoso de robar en las viviendas situadas en los exclusivos barrios del área de Hollywood Hills. Lohan y Patridge no estaban presentes durante los asaltos.
Prugo, que es de la zona de Los Ángeles, se enfrenta a dos cargos por robo domiciliario y, de ser condenado, podría pasar seis años en prisión, informaron fiscales.
La vivienda de Lohan fue asaltada en agosto. En el robo se sustrajeron joyas, ropa y accesorios valorados en cerca de 128.000 dólares, según a la policía.
Objetos similares valorados en unos 43.000 dólares fueron robados en febrero de la casa de Patridge, quien protagoniza la serie de la cadena MTV "The Hills".
Algunos medios señalaron que Prugo conocía a Lohan y que se paseaba por el set de su última película, pero las autoridades no pudieron confirmar esa información.
