La presidenta de la Comunidad de Madrid, Esperanza Aguirre, ha dicho que ella echa en falta a "muchas personas" en el nuevo equipo de dirección del PP encabezado por Mariano Rajoy, incluidos aquellos que han sido más críticos con su gestión, como Juan Costa, Gabriel Elorriaga o María San Gil.
"Con quien hay que ser integrador es con quienes han sido críticos, en mi opinión, el ser integrador con los del botafumeiro es muy fácil", ha apuntado la presidenta madrileña a los periodistas que le han preguntado por la composición de la lista de Rajoy.
Aguirre ha dejado claro que, aunque en la nueva dirección del PP "hay muchas personas" a las que tiene "un enorme respeto, consideración y admiración", también echa en falta "a muchas otras".
Antes de que los periodistas le pidieran nombres, ella misma ha mencionado entre los ausentes a los diputados Manuel Pizarro y Juan Costa, al vicepresidente primero de la Comunidad de Madrid, Ignacio González, y al secretario general del PP de Madrid, Francisco Granados.
"Pero esta es la lista de Mariano Rajoy, esta no es la mía", ha insistido Aguirre para explicar que su lista será la que presente al congreso regional del PP de Madrid, dentro de cuatro meses.
Luego ha citado a la presidenta del PP vasco, María San Gil, que antes del congreso del PP decidió no presentarse a la reelección, o a los diputados Carlos Aragonés y Gabriel Elorriaga.
En cualquier caso, Esperanza Aguirre ha deseado "muchísima suerte" al nuevo equipo de dirección, porque en su opinión "hay que hacer mucha labor de integración para lograr un partido nacional" y esta integración debería hacerse con los críticos.
Respecto a la incorporación del alcalde de Madrid al Comité Ejecutivo Nacional, ha recordado que él ya estaba en este órgano, al igual que otros como José María Álvarez del Manzano o Lucía Figar, lo cual le parece "estupendamente bien".
