Raúl Albiol, defensa internacional español, lamentó la eliminación de España en semifinales de la Copa Confederaciones ante los Estados Unidos (2-0), que le hizo declinar hablar de su fichaje por el Real Madrid "hasta que no sea oficial".
"No puedo decir nada sobre si voy a jugar en el Real Madrid porque no se nada oficial y, menos, porque no es el momento. Nadie me ha comunicado que esté cerrado y hasta que no lo hagan no puedo halar. Es día de partido, estoy centrado en la selección. En el momento que sepa algo, hablaré", aseguró.
Albiol lamentó la derrota en semifinales de la Copa Confederaciones ante Estados Unidos: "Ha sido una lastima. Han hecho un gran trabajo, nos han tapado muy bien muchas ocasiones de gol. Alguna vez teníamos que perder y es difícil de asumir".
"Pensábamos que íbamos a ganar, veníamos con una racha muy buena y tenemos equipo para pasar a la final. Hemos hecho méritos al menos para empatar, pero no ha podido ser. Hay que pasar página", añadió.
