Actualizado:
La División de Apelación del Tribunal Supremo de Nueva York ha reconocido hoy al Club Náutico Español de Vela (CNEV) como primer desafiante (challenger of record) para la 33 Copa del América.
Los cinco jueces han determinado, por 3-2, que el club español debería ser el primer desafío inscrito de la competición, el que tiene el derecho a negociar con el defensor los términos de la siguiente edición de la Copa del América y le da diez meses para preparar la regata desde que reciba copia de esta resolución.
