La policía de Palm Beach (Florida) arrestó hoy a la madre de la tenista Anna Kournikova después de que su hijo de cinco años cayera por una ventana de su domicilio, informó hoy la página web TMZ.
Alla Kournikova fue acusada por las autoridades de negligencia en el cuidado de un menor, su hijo Allan, de cinco años y hermanastro de Anna, por dejar solo al niño encerrado en casa.
La madre explicó que se ausentó del inmueble y cerró todas las puertas "con un candado" para ir a hacer unos recados durante 50 minutos y que su hijo, que estaba viendo la televisión, no quiso acompañarla.
Más tarde Allan cayó por una ventana situada en la segunda planta del domicilio, si bien no quedó claro si el menor intentaba saltar o se precipitó sin querer.
Los vecinos encontraron poco después al niño en la calle llorando a gritos y sangrando.
Allan fue trasladado a un hospital cercano y no ha trascendido el alcance de las posibles lesiones.
