La Bolsa española se mostraba, en los primeros compases de la sesión, incapaz de superar los 9.900 puntos que rozaba en la apertura pese a que su principal indicador, el Ibex-35, subía el 0,07 por ciento con casi todos sus valores en positivo.
A las 09.10 el Ibex recuperaba 6,80 puntos y se situaba en 9.851 puntos, mientras que el Índice General de la Bolsa de Madrid avanzaba el 0,05 por ciento.
Tras cerrar ayer en máximos anuales (9.845,70) y marcar el máximo anual intradía (9.854,20) el Ibex se resistía a romper la barrera de los 9.900 puntos, a los que no se acerca desde octubre de 2008.
Entre las citas de la jornada destacan los alojamientos turísticos de mayo, los precios de la vivienda libre del primer trimestre y la balanza de pagos de abril.
Además, la oficina estadística de la UE difunde su primer cálculo sobre la inflación interanual en la zona del euro en junio, después del mínimo histórico registrado en mayo, cuando por primera vez se situó en cero.
Con el barril de petróleo Brent a 72,74 euros, 1,75 dólares más que al cierre de la sesión anterior, las bolsas europeas lograban beneficios del 0,35 por ciento en Londres y del 0,22 por ciento en Milán.
El Ibex también se mantenía en positivo pese a que alguno de los pesos pesados del mercado, como Telefónica, se situaba en números rojos con un descenso del 0,22 por ciento.
Para el resto, los avances eran del 0,65 por ciento para Endesa, del 0,41 por ciento para Santander, del 0,17 por ciento para Iberdrola, y del 0,11 por ciento para BBVA, mientras que Repsol cotizaba plano.
Los mayores avances eran para Abengoa y Gamesa, del 1,69 y del 0,78 por ciento.
En el mercado de divisas, el euro subía hoy en las primeras horas de cotización en Fráncfort y se cambiaba a 1,410 dólares, frente a los 1,406 dólares de la jornada anterior.
