Las bolsas europeas subían a primera hora del jueves después de las fuertes pérdidas registradas en la víspera, animadas por los avances de los mercados asiáticos mientras se espera otra batería de resultados empresariales en Estados Unidos.
A las 08:27 GMT, el índice FTSEurofirst 300 de los principales valores europeos sumaba un 0,4 por ciento a 1.056,54 puntos, tras dejarse el miércoles un 1,6 por ciento, su peor caída intradía en el último mes y medio.
Los bancos, que fueron de los más perjudicados el miércoles, protagonizaban los avances. HSBC, Barclays, UBS, Commerzbank y Deutsche Bank subían entre un 0,4 por ciento y un 0,9 por ciento.
"Ayer sufrimos un exceso de ventas y el hecho de que la bolsa de Shanghai terminase el día en positivo ha sido un respiro", dijo David Buik, socio de BGC Partners.
En la sesión de hoy se espera otra serie de resultados corporativos en EEUU, entre los que destacan los de Golman Sachs y Google, este último tras el cierre de los mercados europeos.
Nokia subía un 1 por ciento después de publicar el San Francisco Chronicle que seguirá los pasos de Google y ofrecerá servicios de navegación gratuitos en sus teléfonos.
