El presidente argelino y candidato a un tercer mandato, Abdelaziz Buteflika, ha ganado las elecciones presidenciales del país con el 90,24 por ciento de los votos escrutados, según el ministro de Interior, Yazid Zerhuni.
La tercera elección de Buteflika se vio empañada por las voces de la oposición que hablan de un amaño electoral, informa Trinidad Deiros, la enviada especial de Público a Argel.
El rival más cercano de Butlefika en la carrera presidencial, la candidata troskista Louisa Hannoune, obtuvo el 4,22 por ciento.
El presidente del Frente Nacional Argelino (FNA), Mousa Touati, obtuvo un 2,31 por ciento y el candidato del partido islamista reformista El Islah, Djahid Younsi, consiguió un 1,37 por ciento, según los datos facilitados por el responsable de Interior.
Zerhuni explicó que ha habido 1.042.727 de votos nulos, lo que representa cerca de un 5% del censo electoral. Asimismo, indicó que el total de "votos expresados", que excluye los votos nulos e incluye los blancos, fue de 14.308.578.
Respecto a las acusaciones de fraude realizadas por varios de los candidatos y por los partidos de oposición, Zerhuni aseguró que "nadie nos ha informado de hechos precisos y concretos" e instó a denunciarlas ante la Comisión Electoral. "Incluso si les concedemos que hubo algún caso, esto no ha tenido influencia en los resultados definitivos", aseveró.
