Caja Madrid concedió en los dos primeros meses del año 2.419 millones de euros en créditos, el 85 por ciento de las operaciones solicitadas por los clientes, aunque la demanda se ha reducido un 50 por ciento respecto a las mismas fechas del año pasado.
La entidad financiera informó de que durante enero y febrero de este año se han solicitado un total de 30.190 operaciones de crédito, frente a las 59.476 del mismo periodo del año anterior, lo que supone un descenso del 50 por ciento, que achaca a la "menor actividad económica y al descenso de proyectos de inversión".
En total, las operaciones de crédito realizadas hasta febrero fueron 25.547, por un importe de 2.419 millones de euros.
Agrega que el ritmo de concesión de crédito a clientes particulares mantiene, en la primera parte de 2009, el mismo nivel que en 2008, cuando se concedieron el 85,5% de las operaciones solicitadas (244.271) por un importe superior a los 19.000 millones de euros.
Estas cifras, según Caja Madrid, confirman la apuesta por mantener los ritmos de financiación tanto a particulares como a empresas y subraya que tiene comprometidos 2.720 millones de euros para financiar a las pymes madrileñas.
