El patrocinador principal del Valencia, Unibet.com, ha modificado su campaña de ánimo dirigida a la afición de Mestalla en el partido de mañana ante el Barcelona ante la petición realizada en ese sentido por la Comisión Antiviolencia, que ha declarado el partido de alto riesgo.
En una nota informativa, Unibet explica que "la decisión viene motivada por diferentes presiones recibidas desde el Comité de Antiviolencia y del Consejo Superior de Deportes" y que por ese motivo "y a fin de no alimentar polémicas estériles, la empresa modificará el contenido de la Web "valencianistasespartanos.com".
Sin embargo, el patrocinador del Valencia indica que la modificación del contenido de la web de los espartanos se hará para que "no pueda ser tachado en ningún caso, ni veladamente, de promover la violencia".
Así, Unibet asegura que tratará de "promover entre los aficionados la importancia de valores como el juego limpio, el respeto, el espíritu de deportividad y la verdadera amistad".
Unibet defiende en su nota que "siempre ha sido un defensor del juego limpio y que está en contra de toda violencia en el deporte y se muestra extrañado por las presiones recibidas ante una acción que sólo pretendía hacer un guiño a la proeza histórica de los 300 espartanos para derrotar a un rival superior".
