El jugador de los Denver Nuggets de la NBA Carmelo Anthony se casará el próximo verano con la disc-jockey Lala Vázquez tras cinco años de compromiso, según anunció hoy la propia novia en el programa "The Wendy William's Show".
La pareja se comprometió en la Navidad de 2004 y tienen un hijo en común, Kiyan Carmelo Anthony, nacido en 2007.
Vázquez y Anthony han contratado los servicios de Mindy Weiss para organizar todos los detalles de la boda. Weiss ya se ocupó de esa labor en los enlaces matrimoniales de celebridades como Heidi Klum, Shaquille O'Neal o Gwen Stefani.
Durante su intervención en el programa, Vázquez avanzó que amigas cercanas como Kim Kardashian y Solange Knowles asistirán al evento, entre las 250 ó 300 personas que piensan invitar.
"Todo el mundo ha estado esperando este momento durante mucho tiempo, así que más nos vale invitar a toda esa gente", dijo entre risas Vázquez.
La pareja, ambos de origen puertorriqueño, contraerá matrimonio en Nueva York.
