Un total de 20 personas, tres de ellas motoristas, fallecieron en 18 accidentes de tráfico ocurridos durante el fin de semana en las carreteras españolas. Hubo 13 heridos grave y otros siete de carácter leve, informaron fuentes de la Dirección General de Tráfico (DGT).
Así, desde las 15.00 horas del viernes hasta las 00.00 horas de ayer, domingo, de los 18 accidentes, seis han sido salidas de la vía, nueve colisiones y dos atropellos. El día con mayor número de víctimas en las carreteras fue el sábado, con 13, en un total de 11 accidentes que dejaron nueve personas heridas graves y cuatro, leves.
El sábado se registró el accidente con mayor número de víctimas mortales. Ocurrió en la N-435, a la altura de la localidad onubense de La Nava, donde dos hombres de entre 50 y 56 años y una mujer de 51 años fallecieron en una colisión frontal entre dos vehículos.
El viernes se contabilizaron tres fallecidos en otros tantos accidentes, mientras que el domingo -hasta las 20.00 horas- perecieron en las carreteras cuatro personas, otras cuatro resultaron heridas de carácter grave y tres, leves, en un total de cuatro accidentes.
En el acumulado anual, hasta el 7 de junio, se llevan contabilizados 804 muertos, 97 menos que hasta la misma fecha del año pasado, lo que representa un descenso del 10,7%.
