Ya no habrá más "2x1" ni "barra libre" en Cataluña, según se estipula en la nueva ley de la Salud Pública, que fue aprobada el miércoles por la Cámara catalana.
El Govern busca con la nueva norma proteger y mejorar la salud de la población a través del control de los riesgos para la salud en el medio, como por ejemplo el consumo de alcohol, según un comunicado publicado en su página web (www.gencat.cat).
"Se prohíbe la promoción de bebidas alcohólicas en establecimientos, locales y otros espacios autorizados para suministrarlas o consumirlas hecha por medio de ofertas promocionales, premios, canjes, sorteos, concursos, fiestas promocionales o rebajas de precios, que incluyen ofertas que se anuncian con nombres como 'barra libre', '2x1', '3x1' y otros parecidos", dice la ley.
La nueva normativa actualiza la ley de 1985 de prevención y asistencia en materia de sustancias que pueden generar dependencia, que ya se modificó en 1991 y busca adaptarse a la realidad social actual.
No hay cambios respecto a la ley estatal del tabaco, pero, entre otras medidas, se pondrá a disposición de la población un total de 5.000 tratamientos farmacológicos gratuitos de apoyo a personas con especial vulnerabilidad que quieran dejar de fumar.
Habrá más de 32.000 consultas preventivas para los adolescentes en los colegios para educarles en temas referentes a la alimentación, la sexualidad, la salud mental, el tabaco y las adicciones.
La importancia de la alimentación se llevará también al ámbito escolar, donde se fomentará la educación de los niños respecto a cuestiones alimentarias, y las personas mayores podrán participar en acciones de promoción de alimentación y actividad física en residencias de toda Cataluña.
Se realizarán además 196.000 inspecciones de establecimientos alimentarios y 59.000 inspecciones ambientales, lo que incluye redes de suministro de agua, controles de legionela, de alojamientos temporales y entidades gestoras de agua de consumo.
