El comité ejecutivo de CDC ha decidido suspender temporalmente de militancia a los dos ex altos cargos de los gobiernos de Jordi Pujol, Macià Alavedra y Lluís Prenafeta, que se encuentran en prisión por su supuesta vinculación con una trama de corrupción urbanística.
El portavoz del grupo de CiU en el Parlament, Oriol Pujol, hijo del ex presidente de la Generalitat Jordi Pujol, ha sido el encargado de informar hoy en rueda de prensa de la decisión que ha tomado CDC después de que el juez Baltasar Garzón decretara anoche la prisión para el ex conseller de Economía, Macià Alavedra, y el ex secretario general de Presidencia, Lluís Prenafeta.
Hasta ahora, CDC se había opuesto a tomar ninguna medida respecto a la militancia de estos ex altos cargos hasta conocer la decisión del juez Garzón y se había limitado a esperar que fueran Alavedra y Prenafeta los que presentaran por iniciativa propia su baja para evitar cualquier perjuicio para el partido.
