La ministra de Vivienda, Carme Chacón, recordó hoy que su departamento ha dado ayudas para vivienda a 531.045 familias, lo que supone casi el 74 por ciento del objetivo para toda la legislatura, mientras que la oposición le criticó que sea el ministerio con la ejecución presupuestaria más baja.
En respuesta a una interpelación urgente planteada por el diputado del PP Pablo Matos para que el Gobierno diera cuenta del grado de cumplimiento de sus compromisos en materia de vivienda, la ministra explicó que se han ejecutado el 123 por ciento de los objetivos convenidos con las comunidades autónomas dentro del Plan Estatal de la Vivienda (PEV).
No obstante, Chacón reconoció que una cosa es la ejecución del Plan Estatal de Vivienda y otra la ejecución del presupuesto del propio ministerio.
"Ciertamente hay fondos que no se han transferido a las comunidades autónomas por falta de justificación, por un problema de decalaje entre los documentos que se presentaban y los que no. Desde que soy ministra he multiplicado en dos meses la ejecución por cuatro y en tres meses la voy a multiplicar por once", añadió.
Asimismo, la ministra subrayó que el Gobierno socialista ha duplicado el presupuesto destinado a las políticas de vivienda, con más de 8.000 millones de euros para el Plan de Choque y para el PEV 2005-2008, a los que ahora se sumarán una partida de 800 millones, que incluyen la deducción fiscal del alquiler para el inquilino y la "renta de emancipación" de 210 euros al mes para jóvenes de entre 22 y 30 años con ingresos anuales inferiores a 22.000 euros brutos.
