La Guardia Civil ha detenido a cinco personas implicadas presuntamente en la compraventa ilegal de una yeguada valorada en más de 450.000 euros.
Las detenciones se han practicado en Cáceres (dos) y Badajoz (tres), aunque en la operación han participado otras Comandancias, la de Valencia, que inició las investigaciones, y las de Huelva, Sevilla y Cádiz, donde se han conseguido recuperar casi todas las yeguas -eran 17- que fueron compradas sin abonar su precio.
Uno de los arrestados en Badajoz fue quien "compró" las yeguas o, mejor dicho, quien simuló el pago de los animales extendiendo un cheque sin fondos por valor de 450.000 euros.
Después, y falsificando la documentación de los animales, los vendió en distintas provincias españolas a personas que supuestamente conocían su procedencia ilícita, y que por tanto están también entre los arrestados, según informa la Guardia Civil.
En total se han recuperado doce yeguas en las seis inspecciones de ganaderías realizadas.
En concreto, en Cáceres, además de las detenciones, se inspeccionó una ganadería; en Badajoz, tres, y se recuperaron dos yeguas; en Huelva se localizaron otros dos animales y una persona fue imputada, y en Sevilla se hallaron otras cinco yeguas y se examinó otra ganadería.
En Cádiz se inspeccionó otra ganadería, de la que se recuperó otra yegua, y además se localizaron otros dos animales en Italia.
A los arrestados se les considera presuntos autores de los delitos de estafa, receptación y falsedad documental.
