La cineasta argentina Paula Marcovich, ganadora de dos Osos de Plata en el Festival Internacional de Cine de Berlín, confesó hoy en Ciudad de México que aún le es difícil asimilar lo que vivió en su infancia durante la dictadura militar en Argentina.
En esa época, dijo la directora de cine, vivió con sus padres en la clandestinidad.
Marcovich, radicada en México desde hace más de dos décadas, espera compartir al mundo sus recuerdos, llenos de "contradicciones y horror" a través de su película 'El Premio'.
"Quiero comunicar una experiencia que fue de desconcierto infantil ante un mundo cruento", explico la directora a Efe.
Recuerda que a sus 8 años vivía con el temor y una gran carga de responsabilidad para no delatar a sus padres que vivían en la clandestinidad.
La película, presentada hoy en la Universidad de Cine de la capital mexicana, ha tenido varios reconocimientos y premios que a su directora la tienen satisfecha. Sin embargo, ha sido "un escape y gran alivio" para su vida personal.
Según la directora, la película filmada en San Clemente (Argentina) le dio la oportunidad de reencontrarse con sus compañeros de escuela de esa época, con los que "ahora se retomó la amistad".
Por último, Marcovich dijo que su deseo es crear en ese lugar un taller artístico para niños.
