La jefa superior de Policía de Canarias, Concepción de Vega, manifestó hoy que la nueva búsqueda de la joven desaparecida Sara Morales se lleva a cabo a partir de pistas no suficientemente trabajadas de los últimos dos años.
"Desgraciadamente no tenemos nada nuevo: ¡ojalá pudiéramos decir algún día que hemos resuelto el tema!", afirmó Concepción de Vega a un grupo de periodistas tras el acto de la toma de posesión del nuevo juez decano de la capital grancanaria.
De Vega insistió en que no se ha dejado de investigar el caso desde la desaparición de Sara Morales hace casi tres años tras salir de su casa en la capital grancanaria y señaló no poder facilitar más detalles sobre la investigación.
La policía ha iniciado hoy de nuevo la búsqueda del cuerpo de la joven Sara Morales.
Desde esta mañana, policías y unidades del Ejército de Tierra, ayudados por excavadoras, hacen un rastreo en una finca de la zona de Jinámar, entre la capital grancanaria y el municipio de Telde, según informó la delegada del Gobierno en Canarias, Carolina Darias.
