Un hombre ha muerto esta mañana en Alfarràs (Lleida) al salirse de la vía el turismo en el que viajaba, cuyo conductor ha sido detenido por circular ebrio y drogado y carecer de carné.
Según ha informado la Policía autonómica, el siniestro ha ocurrido a las 07.32 horas, al salirse de la calzada y volcar posteriormente un turismo que circulaba por el camino del Canal de Alfarràs.
En el accidente ha muerto un hombre de 55 años vecino de Alcarràs que viajaba en el asiento de copiloto del coche, mientras que el conductor, Jesús M.B., de 46 años y vecino de Almenar (Lleida), ha salido ileso.
Los Mossos d'Esquadra han detenido al superviviente del accidente tras realizarle la prueba de alcoholemia, en la que ha arrojado un índice de 0,64 miligramos por litro, y el test de drogas, en el que ha dado positivo por consumo de cannabis.
El detenido, que en las próximas horas pasará a disposición del Juzgado de guardia de Balaguer (Lleida) acusado de un delito contra la seguridad del tráfico, carecía de permiso de conducir porque no había aprobado nunca las pruebas.
Al lugar del accidente se han desplazado tres patrullas de mossos d'esquadra, tres dotaciones de los Bomberos de la Generalitat y servicios sanitarios.
