El temporal de nieve continúa hoy en la mitad norte de Francia, donde 30 departamentos están en alerta naranja y los transportes ferroviarios, aéreos y terrestres sufren perturbaciones, aunque los problemas remiten ligeramente.
En decenas de municipios se ha declarado el estado de catástrofe natural ante las inundaciones provocadas por el temporal y los desprendimientos.
Los servicios meteorológicos galos vaticinan que la nieve y el frío continuarán hasta esta noche, tras haber marcado ayer los mínimos de la semana. En el fin de semana se registrará una cierta mejoría y la lluvia sustituirá a la nieve.
Numerosos automovilistas se vieron bloqueados en carreteras del país, mientras que la empresa pública de trenes SNCF prevé una mejora hoy en los transportes respecto a las anulaciones de la víspera.
El servicio eléctrico, que vivió ayer un récord de consumo, espera un ligero descenso hoy, pero no descarta problemas de suministro en determinadas regiones, en particular en Bretaña.
En los aeropuertos también se espera que disminuyan los problemas, en particular en París, cuya región ya no se encuentra en alerta por temporal.
