Un empresario tiró a la basura el brazo seccionado de uno de sus empleados, un inmigrante boliviano en situación irregular, que acababa de sufrir la amputación en un accidente laboral, según la denuncia del sindicato Comisiones Obreras.
El accidente ocurrió el pasado 28 de mayo cuando el empleado, un hombre de 33 años, trabajaba de madrugada en una panificadora industrial, situada en la localidad de Real de Gandia, en la región mediterránea de Valencia.
Según el secretario comarcal de CCOO, Josep Antoni Carrascosa, tras el accidente, el empresario responsable de la panificadora trasladó al herido a un hospital de Gandia "pero a 200 metros del centro de salud le abandonó a su suerte".
Poco después, el empresario "regresó a la fábrica, limpió la sangre y tiró el brazo a un contenedor de basura", según la versión del sindicato, que se personará judicialmente contra los propietarios.
La Guardia Civil, alertada del suceso por los médicos del hospital, acudió a la fábrica para recuperar el miembro seccionado, y se ha personado también en la causa, según las mismas fuentes.
Después de ser atendido en el centro hospitalario de Gandia, el trabajador fue trasladado a otro hospital de la ciudad de Valencia, donde fue ingresado en la Unidad de Vigilancia Intensiva (UVI).
El hombre trabajaba en la empresa desde hacía dos años "con jornadas de 12 horas diarias, sin contrato, y por un sueldo de 23 euros al día (32 dólares)",
El sindicato ha ofrecido de forma gratuita a la familia del joven boliviano sus servicios jurídicos.
