El desbordamiento del río Guadalquivir a su paso por Córdoba como consecuencia de las fuertes lluvias registradas entre los días 6 y 7, cuando cayeron 168 litros por metro cuadrado, ha afectado a un total de 455 viviendas.
Del total del número de viviendas afectadas por la tromba de agua, 380 se sitúan en la zona de Poniente, y otras 75 se ubican en Levante, según los datos aportados por el portavoz de IU en el Ayuntamiento de Córdoba, Francisco Tejada, en declaraciones a los periodistas.
Como consecuencia de las inundaciones, un total de 21 personas han tenido que ser realojadas en la Casa de Acogida de Campo Madre de Dios, un recurso puesto a disposición por los servicios sociales municipales.
Tejada ha explicado que, a día de hoy, el nivel del río es similar a jornadas anteriores, si bien ayer se registró un recrecimiento del nivel del Guadalquivir como consecuencia del desembalse del pantano de San Rafael de Navallana.
Por su parte, el portavoz del PP en el Ayuntamiento de Córdoba, José Antonio Nieto, ha instado al equipo de gobierno municipal a que culmine el Plan del Río, del que se ha ejecutado una fase y que, en su opinión, si estuviera finalizado, evitaría inundaciones como las actuales, que han afectado a "zonas que teóricamente no son inundables".
Nieto, que ha mostrado su apoyo al equipo de gobierno municipal ante la situación actual, ha criticado, sin embargo, la "actuación claramente deficiente" que han llevado a cabo tanto el Ayuntamiento como la Junta de Andalucía y les ha requerido que aclaren si ha habido descoordinación en la transmisión de la información.
En concreto, a la Junta le ha acusado de no haber "acertado en la gestión de los desembalses" y por el "mal estado de los arroyos del margen derecho".
