La Policía Local ha detenido en la carretera que une los municipios mallorquines de Sant Llorenç y Porto Cristo al presunto autor del homicidio en Palma de su compañera sentimental, Juan María Rebassa.
El presunto asesino fue arrestado anoche sobre las 21.00 horas, responde al nombre de Juan José P.P., tiene 53 años de edad y padece un trastorno psíquico.
Según informa la Policía Nacional en un comunicado, desde primeras horas de la tarde de ayer se intensificó la búsqueda por dicha zona al tener conocimiento de que el hombre la frecuentaba, por lo que se repartieron fotografías a la Guardia Civil y a las policías locales para colaborar con su localización.
El detenido, según han indicado hoy fuentes policiales, permanece a esta hora en los calabozos de la Jefatura Superior de Policía en Palma para su interrogatorio e instrucción de las diligencias pertinentes, antes de su puesta a disposición judicial.
Se prevé que el arrestado no pase hoy a disposición del juez de guardia, algo que ocurrirá seguramente mañana.
La compañera sentimental del arrestado, de 42 años, fue encontrada muerta degollada en la noche del pasado jueves en el piso donde vivían ambos en el barrio del Camp Redó de Palma.
Los dos vivían juntos en un piso tutelado, en el número 7 de la calle Sant Josep de la Muntanya, porque ambos padecían problemas psiquiátricos.
Fue precisamente el tutor de la pareja el que acudió al piso para ver cómo estaban porque no cogían el teléfono del domicilio, donde encontró a la mujer degollada y cuyo cuerpo había sido introducido en una bolsa de plástico.
