Agentes de la Ertzaintza detuvieron ayer a once jóvenes, ocho de ellos menores de edad, por agredir a dos seguidores del Sestao River, que tuvieron que ser trasladados a un centro hospitalario, tras el derbi de Segunda División "B" que enfrentó a este equipo con el Barakaldo FC.
Según ha informado el departamento de Interior, la agresión se produjo después del partido en Sestao, pero en torno a un kilómetro de Lasesarre, el campo del Barakaldo FC donde se disputó el partido entre los dos equipos de la Margen Izquierda, con victoria de los locales por 2-0.
Las víctimas, que sufrieron diversas lesiones en la cabeza, relataron a los agentes que fueron golpeados con bates de beisbol y objetos metálicos por una decena de personas.
Poco después, la Ertzaintza detuvo en la calle Chavarri, en Sestao, a ocho menores, de entre 15 y 17 años, cuyas características coincidían con las descritas por los agredidos, que intentaron huir a la carrera y a uno de los cuales se le encontraron varias piedras en los bolsillos.
Otra patrulla de la Policía vasca arrestó en esa zona de Sestao próxima a Barakaldo a otros tres jóvenes presuntamente implicados en la agresión, a quienes se les localizó un puño americano entre sus pertenencias.
