Royston Drenthe, centrocampista holandés del Hércules, afirmó a EFE que no está en paradero desconocido y alegó problemas de cobro en la entidad alicantina para justificar su ausencia en la primera sesión de entrenamiento tras las vacaciones invernales.
Drenthe no participó en la sesión de entrenamiento que llevó a cabo el conjunto alicantino en el estadio Rico Pérez el lunes y desde el Hércules se aseguró que no se tenía conocimiento de dónde se encontraba el jugador ni de los motivos que le llevaron a no presentarse junto a sus compañeros.
El jugador holandés aseguró que en el Hércules sí que conocían los motivos que han hecho que no se presente en la sesión de trabajo y alegó problemas de cobro desde su llegada al conjunto alicantino para justificar su medida de presión.
"Un día me dicen que se va a solucionar, pero al final no se soluciona nada", apuntó el holandés, quien afirmó que está "cansado" de que los dirigentes de la entidad alicantina le den largas.
El centrocampista cedido por el Real Madrid apuntó que no tiene la intención de volver a ejercitarse mientras no haya una solución y ha hablado con sus representantes para que se encarguen del asunto.
