El delantero marfileño del Chelsea Didier Drogba y el defensa portugués del mismo equipo José Bosingwa, han sido sancionados por el comité de control y disciplina de la UEFA con seis y cuatro partidos, respectivamente, por su comportamiento en el partido que jugaron contra el Barcelona el pasado 6 de mayo.
Drogba ha sido suspendido por seis partidos, los últimos dos de ellos en período de pruebas durante dos años, como consecuencia de los incidentes que protagonizó durante el partido que disputaron el Chelsea y el Barcelona, en Londres, el pasado 6 de mayo y cuya resolución se adoptó hoy.
Como Drogba, los dos últimos partidos de penalización de Bosingwa serán en período de prueba durante dos años.
Además, el Chelsea ha sido multado con 100.000 euros por la conducta impropia de sus jugadores y por el lanzamiento de objetos al terreno de juego durante el partido que jugaron contra el Barcelona y que acabó en empate a un gol. La resolución podrá ser recurrida por el club o los jugadores en el plazo de tres días desde el conocimiento de la sanción.
