Un profesor de educación infantil ha sido encarcelado en la prisión donostiarra de Martutene, tras ser detenido en Hernani (Guipúzcoa) acusado de abusar de una menor de tres años, han informado hoy a Efe fuentes del caso.
Según estas fuentes, el presunto autor de los abusos, que no sería profesor de la víctima aunque sí tendría relación con ella, fue detenido el pasado viernes e ingresó el domingo en prisión, tras ser puesto el sábado a disposición judicial.
Las fuentes citadas han explicado que el juez decidió encarcelar al acusado debido a la gravedad de la pena que, en caso de ser encontrado culpable, podría imponerse al detenido, ya que se le imputa un delito de abusos sexuales agravados que podrían estar castigados con hasta un máximo de diez años de reclusión.
También han puesto de relieve que la importancia de esta pena entrañaría un cierto riesgo de fuga en caso de que el inculpado hubiera quedado en libertad, además de haber dejado abierta la posibilidad de que actuara nuevamente contra la víctima, ya que conoce a la menor y forma de alguna manera parte de su entorno, por lo que finalmente el juez acordó su ingreso en prisión.
