El Euríbor, el indicador más utilizado para el cálculo de hipotecas, cerró el mes de abril en el 1,771 por ciento, la menor tasa en sus diez años de historia, tras siete meses seguidos de descensos durante los que se han perdido más de dos puntos y medio porcentuales.
Estos datos, que deberá confirmar el Banco de España en los próximos días, reducirán las cuotas de las hipotecas contratadas hace un año que se revisen en mayo entre 3.000 y 5.800 euros al año.
Tras situarse hoy en su negociación diaria en el 1,728 por ciento, nuevo mínimo histórico intradía, la tasa de abril coloca el indicador medio punto porcentual por debajo de los tipos de interés de la zona euro, actualmente en el 1,25 por ciento.
