El Centro de Historia de Zaragoza acoge desde hoy hasta el 31 de mayo una exposición sobre el universo creativo de David Lynch, una obra plástica y cinematográfica que trata de "transgredir la normalidad" y explorar territorios desconocidos.
La muestra, con el título "Action Reaction", se compone de doce litografías de la serie "París Suite", inspirada por unos dibujos realizados en "Post-it" durante los años sesenta y ochenta, y otras siete de la serie "Women", que presentan la iconografía clásica del artista, principalmente monocromáticos, deliberadamente primitivos y de calidades crudas.
En esta última serie, Lynch incluye palabras en la mayoría de las imágenes para ofrecer un pensamiento más claro sobre sus trabajos, al tiempo que sus formas, sombras y texturas resultan de "extrema belleza" en el conjunto de la obra.
La exposición está organizada por la Sociedad Municipal Zaragoza Cultural y la empresa de gestión cultural Arte contemporáneo GACMA, con el objetivo de mostrar todas las facetas artísticas de Lynch, considerado "autor de culto para los amantes del séptimo arte" y que se dio a conocer a gran escala con la serie de televisión Twin Peaks.
La muestra también incluye un recorrido por la filmografía de este director, "caracterizada por una estética surrealista y su obsesión por explorar el lado oscuro de la experiencia humana", y destacan filmes como Carretera Perdida, Mulholland Drive, Cabeza Borradora, El Hombre elefante o Terciopelo azul, entre otras.
