Una facción palestina lanzó anoche un proyectil de mortero contra territorio israelí, confirmó hoy a Efe un portavoz del Ejército de Israel.
"Anoche sobre las 23.30 hora local (20.30 GMT) un proyectil de mortero fue lanzado desde la zona central de la franja de Gaza y cayó en territorio israelí, cerca de la localidad de Nahal Oz, sin provocar daños ni víctimas", indicó el portavoz.
Por el momento ninguna de las facciones armadas palestinas ha reclamado la autoría del ataque, que supone el mayor incumplimiento del alto el fuego en la franja desde que este se inició en la mañana del pasado jueves.
"Israel no ha devuelto el fuego ni ha violado la tregua", declaró el portavoz militar.
En Cisjordania, donde no rige el cese de hostilidades, el Ejército israelí llevó a cabo anoche una operación conjunta con el Shin Bet (servicio de inteligencia interior israelí) en la ciudad de Nablús en la que murieron dos supuestos miembros de la Yihad Islámica.
Uno de ellos es Tarik Jumea, también conocido como Abu Jalí, de 24 años y, según el Ejército israelí líder de la Yihad Islámica en Nablús.
