El base Jonny Flynn fue elegido con el número seis por los Timberwolves de Minnesota en el sorteo universitario de la NBA que se celebra en el Madison Square Garden.
Flynn, de 20 años, y 1,82 de altura, será compañero de otro base, el español Ricky Rubio, que fue elegido por los Timberwolves con el número cinco.
Tanto Flynn, formado en la Universidad de Syracuse, como Rubio tienen características de juego muy parecidas, ya que el estadounidense también es un gran encestador y manejador del balón.
Flynn, de gran poder atlético y velocidad, la pasada temporada logró unos promedios de 17,4 puntos y 6,7 asistencias.
"Tengo una gran pasión por el deporte y pongo siempre toda la energía en el campo", declaró Flynn. "Me gusta tirar a canasta y encestar y creo que ahora todo el mundo podrá comprobarlo".
