La fórmula de repartir los votos del grupo anunciada hoy por el PCTV-EHAK ya fue utilizada por Sozialista Abertzaleak, el grupo de Basatuna en el Parlamento Vasco, para posibilitar la aprobación del denominado Plan Ibarretxe hace cuatro años.
El PCTV-EHAK ha anunciado hoy que uno de sus nueve parlamentarios votará a favor del proyecto de ley de consulta mañana el Parlamento vasco, lo que posibilitará su aprobación, mientras que el resto se abstendrá.
La posición de este partido era decisiva, ya que con este único voto a favor romperá el previsible empate a 33 del tripartito (PNV-EA-EB) más Aralar, por un lado, a favor de la consulta, y del PSE-EE y el PP, por otro, en contra.
Una fórmula similar fue aplicada el 30 de diciembre de 2004 por el entonces portavoz en el Parlamento Vasco de Sozialista Abertzaleak, Arnaldo Otegi.
Otegi explicó en el pleno en el que se sometía a votación el denominado Plan Ibarretxe que tres de sus seis parlamentarios iban a votar a favor de la propuesta, lo que suponía su aprobación por mayoría absoluta, y así efectivamente lo hicieron.
El tripartito PNV-EA-EB sumaba 36, con lo que con los tres de SA, la antigua Batasuna, se superaban la mitad más uno de los parlamentarios vascos, 75.
Otegi anunció que tres de sus seis parlamentarios votarían que "sí a Euskalherria, a la autodeterminación y un gran acuerdo que permita abrir las puertas para superar el conflicto".
