El Gobierno aprobó hoy el Real-Decreto Ley que regula las ayudas al sector financiero y la creación del Fondo de Reestructuración Ordenada Bancaria (FROB), que busca "crear confianza en el sistema financiero frente a los problemas que puedan surgir".
En la rueda de prensa posterior al Consejo de Ministros, la vicepresidenta primera del Gobierno, María Teresa Fernández de la Vega, admitió que aunque el sector bancario ha demostrado su "probada solvencia", "en la actual coyuntura algunas entidades podrían tener algunas dificultades".
Por ello, el Real Decreto-Ley buscará "reforzar los recursos propios en procesos de integración" de las entidades en graves dificultades, mientras que apoyará la continuidad de las que se consideran viables pero sufren dificultades puntuales.
