El PSOE, apoyado por el PNV y Coalición Canaria, derrotó hoy en el Congreso las enmiendas de totalidad que el PP, CiU, UPyD, ERC-IU-ICV y el BNG habían presentado contra el proyecto de Presupuestos Generales del Estado para 2010.
En la votación celebrada en el Pleno del Congreso, las enmiendas que pedían la devolución del proyecto al Gobierno fueron apoyadas por 168 diputados, pero no salieron adelante al ser derrotadas por una mayoría formada por PSOE, PNV y CC (177 votos). El diputado de UPN, Carlos Salvador, optó por abstenerse.
Superado el debate de totalidad, los grupos parlamentarios deberán presentar antes del mediodía del viernes sus enmiendas parciales al articulado.
El texto del Gobierno y las propuestas de modificación serán discutidas primero en ponencia y, la primera semana de noviembre, pasarán a la Comisión de Presupuestos, donde volverá a haber votaciones. En esa fase, el PSOE necesitará afianzar el apoyo del PNV y asegurar la abstención de alguna minoría para evitar derrotas.
El proyecto volverá al Pleno del Congreso la semana del 10 al 12 de noviembre y de ahí se remitirá al Senado.
