El duque de Palma, Iñaki Urdangarín, ha sido distinguido con el Premio Gaudí Gresol a la Notoriedad y la Excelencia en la categoría de Deportes, en reconocimiento a su carrera como jugador de balonmano profesional.
Estos premios, que se entregarán el próximo día 19 de junio en Reus (Tarragona), están convocados por la Fundación Gresol -plataforma de análisis e intercambio de opinión con líderes políticos, económicos y sociales sobre el futuro de Cataluña en el marco del sur de Europa-, con la colaboración del Ayuntamiento de Reus y la Cámara de Comercio de esa localidad.
La Fundación ha informado hoy de que está previsto que el duque de Palma asista junto a su esposa, la Infanta Cristina, a la cena de gala en la que se hará entrega de los galardones, que se celebrará en el Palacio de Ferias y Congresos de Reus.
