Andrés Iniesta, centrocampista internacional del Barcelona, volvió a entrenarse tras superar una infección alimentaria, que le impidió jugar ayer en El Sardinero ante Estados Unidos, y ha dado los primeros pasos para regresar a la dinámica de grupo y estar disponible ante Rusia.
Iniesta comió un alimento en mal estado, el pasado domingo, y desde el lunes sufría una tóxico infección alimentaria, que obligó a ingresarle en una clínica madrileña. Regresó a la expedición ayer, tras llegar a Puente Viesgo a primera hora de la tarde, ya rehidratado y siguiendo dieta blanca, con síntomas de flojedad.
Hoy, fue uno más de los 23 elegidos de Luis Aragonés que viajaron en la expedición española desde Santander a Innsbruck, y quedaron concentrados en un hotel de Neustift. Y siguiendo los planes previstos por el cuerpo técnico en colaboración con los doctores, se volvió a ejercitar.
Completó un trabajo suave, de carrera continua, dando los primeros pasos hacia su regreso y aumentando las esperanzas de Luis Aragonés de contar con él el día del estreno de España, el próximo martes ante Rusia.
Por el campo de entrenamiento donde a partir de mañana España se ejercitará en doble sesión, pasaron también Andrés Palop, que se entrenó junto a José Manuel Ochotorena, preparador de porteros de la selección, y Carlos Puyol junto a Cesc Fábregas.
Luis Aragonés estuvo cerca de Puyol y Cesc, que saltaron al campo para desentumecer músculos tras el partido disputado ayer ante Estados Unidos, realizaron carrera continua y tocaron balón.
