El diputado de IU Gaspar Llamazares ha anunciado que el Gobierno no contará con su voto, ni con el de Joan Herrera (ICV), en la votación del techo de gasto que se discutirá en el pleno del Congreso, y ello debido una "política fiscal regresiva" que, a su juicio, "vuelve a recaer sobre las rentas medias".
En declaraciones en los pasillos del Congreso, Llamazares no ha aclarado si ambos diputados se abstendrán o votarán mañana en contra de la propuesta gubernamental, pero sí ha dejado claro que en ningún caso darán apoyo al techo de gasto.
Además, ha apuntado que es previsible que los tres diputados de ERC, que forman grupo parlamentario junto a IU e ICV, tampoco votarán sí e incluso podrían oponerse a la pretensión del Ejecutivo.
"No respaldaremos ese escenario, que es un escenario de relación preferente con CiU, de guiño a la izquierda, pero de giro a la derecha", ha apuntado.
Llamazares ha interpretado así el hecho de que el PSOE se echara ayer para atrás tras haber pactado con IU-ICV una subida de impuestos a las rentas más altas, a fin de conseguir el respaldo de CiU en la votación del techo de gasto.
En su opinión, la subida de impuestos a los más ricos "finalmente no salió adelante porque el Gobierno optó por la continuidad de la política económica y la alianza con CiU frente a la posibilidad de una alianza de izquierdas que dé una respuesta progresista a la crisis".
También ha hecho hincapié Llamazares en que el Ejecutivo ha "desaprovechado" una oportunidad en favor de las políticas sociales por mantener su "alianza con la derecha de CiU" y por "miedo a hacer cambios de izquierdas".
