El cantautor español Joaquín Sabina escribió un poema póstumo para despedir a la fallecida cantante argentina Mercedes Sosa, a quien define como "la gran dama que bordó puntos y comas en las prisas del idioma de la gente".
En el poema "Violetas para Mercedes Sosa", que publica hoy la prensa de Buenos Aires, Sabina admite que le "aterran" las despedidas y "llora" la ausencia de "la voz de América", fallecida el 4 de octubre pasado en la capital argentina.
"Canto ancestral de Argentina, la más frutal de las minas, todo es nada, no sabe cómo la lloro, desafinando en el coro de las hadas. Madrina de los roqueros más intrusos, más villeros, menos brutos, en calle melancolía, mi letra y su melodía visten de luto", dice.
"Militante del futuro, no pudo con ella el muro de Berlín", afirma el poema de Sabina, uno de los artistas elegidos para participar en "Cantora", la última producción de "La Negra" Sosa.
"Martina Fierro de ley que sin dios, patria ni rey tiró p'alante, antes de decir adiós me propuso un blues a dos voces distantes, distintas y, sin embargo, cerquita del ron amargo que consuela, que abruma, que mortifica, que suma, que santifica, que desvela", apunta en alusión a ese dueto con el que se encontraron por última vez.
Con este poema Sabina se une a las decenas de artistas, políticos y personalidades de la vida pública que desde que se conoció la muerte de Sosa han querido despedirse de una de las voces más destacadas del panorama nacional.
