El ex presidente de la Generalitat Jordi Pujol (CiU) ha atribuído a un despiste general el desvío de dinero procedente del Palau de la Música.
Tras definir el episodio como "penoso", Pujol ha dicho: "Todos nos despistamos", tanto los patronos como las administraciones pública: Generalitat, Ayuntamiento de Barcelona y Gobierno central, representadas en el Palau a través del consorcio.
En declaraciones a Catalunya Ràdio, Pujol ha asegurado que las administraciones tendrían que haber sido "más vigilantes" y ha reconocido que las grandes estafas "son hecho de un gran despiste, que es fruto de la confianza y también de la desidia, de la comodidad".
Pujol ha negado también haber hablado con Millet tras hacerse público el desvío de fondos.
