El presidente de la Junta de Castilla y León, Juan Vicente Herrera, inaugura hoy lunes la delegación de EFE en León, acompañado del presidente ejecutivo de la primera multinacional española de la información, Álex Grijelmo.
La sede en León forma parte de un proyecto que sigue la experiencia iniciada en EFE en otras comunidades, como Andalucía o la Valenciana, donde en los últimos años han surgido oficinas provinciales, integradas en las respectivas estructuras regionales de la Agencia, que elaboran productos diferenciados.
La nueva delegación tiene como objetivo no sólo contribuir a la vertebración informativa de León por medio de la elaboración de un servicio informativo diferenciado, sino convertirse en la rampa de lanzamiento de las noticias de esta provincial hacia el resto del mundo en todos los soportes en los que trabaja esta compañía multimedia.
EFE León dispondrá de una red propia de corresponsales que cubrirá el territorio provincial bajo la coordinación de la nueva oficina que se inaugurará el lunes y que compartirá espacio con RTVE, en el marco del acuerdo global suscrito por ambas compañías para el aprovechamiento conjunto de infraestructuras y recursos.
