La titular del juzgado de instrucción número 1 de Estepona (Málaga), que instruye la operación "Astapa" contra la corrupción urbanística en la localidad, ha empezado a tomar declaración esta tarde a cinco de las 25 personas detenidas en varias provincias españolas.
Fuentes judiciales han explicado a Efe que los primeros en comparecer en las dependencias judiciales han sido dos personas identificadas como M.C.H y J.L.C.A, quienes ya han terminado de testificar.
A continuación pasarán a disposición judicial otros tres detenidos cuya identidad no ha sido facilitada y se espera que esta misma noche se conozca si se toma alguna medida judicial contra ellos.
El resto de arrestados comparecerá ante la instructora del caso a partir de mañana a primera hora, han añadido las fuentes.
Un total de 25 personas, incluido el alcalde de Estepona, Antonio Barrientos (PSOE), han sido detenidas hoy en el marco de una operación policial contra la corrupción policial en esta localidad.
Entre los arrestados, según han informado a Efe fuentes policiales, figuran además cuatro ediles del actual equipo de gobierno, varios más de anteriores corporaciones, técnicos, abogados y empresarios, a los que se vincula con la corrupción urbanística y el blanqueo de capitales.
Así, han sido detenidos entre otros el concejal de Economía y Hacienda, Francisco Zamorano (PSOE); el jefe de gabinete de la Alcaldía, José Flores; el ingeniero de Urbanismo Javier Wittmeur; y el arquitecto municipal Arturo Cebrián, a quien unas escuchas telefónicas ya vincularon el pasado mes de febrero con un caso de blanqueo de capitales.
