El consejero de Interior y Justicia de Castilla y León, Alfonso Fernández Mañueco, ha dicho hoy en Ávila, tras la crecida de los tres ríos que pasan por Miranda de Ebro (Burgos), que la tranquilidad "se ha restablecido" y ha adelantado que el caudal "irá bajando en las próximas horas y días".
Fernández Mañueco, quien ha visitado hoy la capital abulense, ha señalado a los periodistas que la coordinación entre la Junta de Castilla y León y el Ayuntamiento mirandés "ha funcionado perfectamente".
Tras una noche en la que el caudal del Ebro "subió mucho", en la actualidad se encuentra "muy alejado de su máximo", con 4,67 metros, mientras que la altura límite es de 5,33 metros.
La situación es "de tranquilidad en estos momentos", según el consejero, quien ha matizado que "existe margen más que de sobra", a la vez que se ha mostrado esperanzado en que el caudal "vaya descendiendo en las próximas horas".
Ha precisado que la crecida de los ríos anoche en Miranda de Ebro obligó a "atender" a doce personas que habían solicitado su alojamiento en un albergue, "más por precaución que por otra cosa".
