El presidente del Barcelona, Joan Laporta, y el del Inter de Milán, Massimo Moratti, están reunidos en un hotel barcelonés, un encuentro que ha disparado todos los rumores sobre una hipotética operación con Zlatan Ibrahimovic y Samuel Eto'o como protagonistas.
Ambos dirigentes se han reunido en un céntrico hotel barcelonés, donde comparten una cena. Moratti llegó está tarde a la Ciudad Condal y se reunió con el presidente del Barça.
Según diferentes informaciones, no confirmadas por EFE, en la cumbre entre ambos dirigentes se trataría sobre la posibilidad de que Eto'o pasara a formar parte de la plantilla del Inter e Ibrahimovic de la del Barcelona. También ha aparecido en algún medio el nombre del lateral Maxwell como posible objetivo del cuadro catalán con vistas a la temporada próxima.
Inicialmente, el precio de salida del sueco Ibrahimovic es de 70 millones de euros, según anunció hace unos días Moratti. La prensa italiana especula con que la operación se podría cerrar en torno a los 40 millones, si en la misma se incluye a Eto'o, tasado en unos 30 millones.
El delantero de origen balcánico, de 27 años, ha marcado esta temporada 17 goles en los 26 partidos que ha jugado esta campaña en la serie A y es el jugador mejor pagado del mundo, con una ficha de 9 millones de euros por ejercicio.
Ibrahimovic, formado en las filas del Malmoe, fichó posteriormente por el Ajax de Amsterdam y el Juventus turinés ante de recalar en el Inter.
Samuel Eto'o, de 28 años, ha asegurado esta temporada 30 goles en la primera división española. Al camerunés le queda un año de contrato con el Barça.
