Hay vida y música al otro lado del Escenario Mundo de Rock in Río y así lo ha demostrado Loquillo, que a pesar de competir contra Alanis Morissette, primera invitada internacional de renombre en el festival, ha conseguido congregar a cientos de fans entregados ante el escenario Hot Stage.
Desde minutos antes de la hora prevista para el concierto ya se dejaban ver en los alrededores del Hot Stage compañeros de tupé, algunos a los que ya les faltaba pelo que peinar y seguidores con camisetas nostálgicas de Loquillo y los Trogloditas. Fueron ellos los que recibieron brazos en alto y al grito de "loco" a un Loquillo de negro impoluto y pleno de energía.
"Cruzando el paraíso", "Arte y ensayo" y "Memoria de jóvenes airados" fueron algunas de las canciones con las que el mítico cantante de los 80 comenzó a animar a un público que iba en aumento según pasaban los minutos, aunque hubo que esperar a las tres últimas canciones para que los asistentes pudiera corear a pleno pulmón los estribillos de "Feo, fuerte y formal", "Cuando fuimos los mejores" y "El ritmo del garaje".
Bebiendo tragos de una copa, con peine en el bolsillo de la americana y con su sonrisa cómplice, Loquillo ha sido el encargado de cerrar los conciertos del Hot Stage en el primer día de festival, que antes habían pisado con menor éxito de público las bandas noveles Lilith y The Right Ones.
Su rock, más joven y con intención de no dar tregua a los asistentes, sólo pudo llegar a unos pocos que, a pesar de la temperatura, todavía no habían entrado en calor y preferían descubrir nuevos acordes cobijados bajo las preciadas sombras en torno al escenario.EFE
