El MACBA ha fundado la red museística "L'Internationale", junto con otros tres museos y archivos europeos, con el objetivo de cuestionar de forma plural las narrativas del arte e investigar nuevas líneas, según ha informado el museo barcelonés.
En esta red museística participan además la Moderna Galerija de Ljubljana (Eslovenia), el Van Abbemuseum de Eindhoven (Holanda) y la Július Koller Society de Bratislava (Eslovaquia).
"L'Internationale" supone una nueva colaboración a largo plazo entre estos cuatro museos y archivos europeos, cuya finalidad es, según un portavoz del MACBA, "cuestionar de forma colectiva las narrativas dominantes en la historia del arte, abrir nuevas líneas e indagar las diferencias entre localidades".
Más allá de la dinámica de las grandes instituciones actuales, esta plataforma pretende una colaboración entre museos, sus colecciones, sus archivos y su historia, de la que surjan narrativas artísticas trasnacionales, y reconsiderar el internacionalismo y el translocalismo como medidas más sensibles para reescribir el arte de posguerra y su relación con la sociedad.
Las iniciativas concretas de "L'Internationale" son desarrollar metodologías comunes para la presentación, la investigación y la divulgación a través de una cooperación a largo plazo.
Esta cooperación se centrará en la sustitución del 'espectáculo institucional' por un escenario de presencia continua.
En el caso del MACBA, los frutos de esta colaboración se materializarán en la programación de 2010 y en la presentación de la nueva Colección del museo de 2011.
