El entrenador del Sevilla, Manolo Jiménez, ha pedido hoy al público que sea respetuoso "como suele serlo" con el técnico del Real Madrid Juande Ramos, ex preparador del conjunto andaluz.
Jiménez ha resaltado del entrenador madridista: "ha sido muy importante en el pasado" del club sevillano y ha añadido: "el sevillismo sabe lo importante que es el partido y animará como siempre".
El entrenador del Sevilla ha apuntado que la posición de su equipo es aún ventajosa ya que: "aunque ya no haya un el colchón de puntos todavía tenemos dos puntos más que los inmediatos perseguidores" y ha apuntado: "pase lo que pase, hasta última hora no se decidirán las cosas de esta Liga".
Para el partido contra los madrileños Jiménez ha manifestado sobre el estado de su delantero Luis Fabiano que lleva tiempo con molestias, pero son leves y no le impiden jugar, aunque ha precisado: "arriesgar a futbolistas cargados, con rivales del nivel de Barcelona o del Real Madrid, no es buena idea".
De la abultada derrota del miércoles en Barcelona (4-0) ha dicho que no ha sido más que "un borrón" y ha asegurado: "el vestuario ha respondido bien, ha hecho examen de conciencia y ahora está deseoso de brindarle un triunfo a la afición recobrando el buen juego".
"No conozco ningún profesional que no le dé importancia a un partido con puntos en juego. Nos pasaron por encima, el Barcelona lo suele hacer casi con todos. No falló un pase, lo hizo todo perfecto y fueron muy superiores", dijo Jiménez.
