El delantero bosnio Edin Dzeko, que había despertado el interés del Milán para la próxima temporada se queda en su actual equipo, el Wolfsburgo alemán.
"El Wolsfsburgo no me deja ir", ha declarado el delantero a los micrófonos del canal de televisión por satélite Sky, y agregó: "Todos saben que el Milán es el equipo de mis sueños, pero no puedo hacer nada".
"El nuevo entrenador (Armin Veh) me ha dicho que tengo que permanecer aquí (en el Wolfsburgo) porque tenemos grandes ambiciones para la próxima temporada, para la Bundesliga y la Liga de Campeones. Me ha dicho que soy uno de los mejores jugadores del equipo y que, por lo tanto, debo quedarme", explicó Dzeko.
Los medios de comunicación, tanto bosnios como italianos, habían apuntado en los últimos días el inicio de negociaciones entre el Milán y el Wolfsburgo por el jugador.
El vicepresidente del club "rossonero", Adriano Galliani, había anunciado la intención del Milán de reforzarse para la próxima temporada con "un delantero centro", a la vez que manifestó que esperaba que ese nuevo fichaje fuera el bosnio.
