El presidente catalán, José Montilla, designará tras el verano un interlocutor de alto nivel que haga de enlace con el grupo de la Entesa (PSC, ERC e ICV-EUIA) en el Senado de cara a defender los intereses de la Generalitat en las Cortes en cuestiones como el desarrollo del Estatut y la nueva financiación.
Así lo ha explicado el portavoz de la Entesa, el republicano Carles Bonet, a la salida de la reunión que los senadores de este grupo han mantenido con Montilla en su despacho del Parlamento catalán.
Según Bonet, "nos hemos ofrecido al Gobierno de Cataluña, como único grupo en las Cortes que expresa la composición del Govern, para vehicular y articular los intereses del Gobierno de Cataluña en el Senado".
En este sentido Bonet ha explicado que el presidente catalán "nos ha informado de que tiene la intención de que haya una persona dedicada sobre todo a tener estas relaciones con el Senado y el grupo de la Entesa, con la voluntad de anticiparse a muchas situaciones en el trámite parlamentario, para destacar o retocar algunas leyes o iniciativas".
