Una modelo francesa que luchó contra laanorexia posando desnuda para una campaña de publicidadmientras sufría la enfermedad murió a los 28 años, informaronel jueves medios franceses.
Isabelle Caro, cuya campaña del 2007 "No Anorexia" fueprohibida en Italia, falleció el 17 de noviembre, pero sufamilia pidió que su muerte se mantuviera en el ámbito privado,dijo el diario Le Parisien.
Se desconocen las causas de la muerte, pero Caro, que habíasufrido anorexia desde los 12 años, había sido hospitalizadarecientemente por problemas respiratorios, dijo el diariocitando a un amigo suyo, el cantante suizo Vincent Bigler.
Caro conmocionó a la industria de la moda cuando desnudó sucuerpo esquelético para la campaña del fotógrafo italianoOliviero Toscani -conocido por sus polémicas campañas depublicidad para Benetton- que se exhibió en vallaspublicitarias durante la semana de la moda de Milán. Fueprohibida por el organismo publicitario de Italia.
